This event will explore themes surrounding literature and identity within Quebec’s English-speaking communities. Jason Camlot, who teaches in the English literature department at Concordia, will look at the history of English-language writing in Quebec. He will be joined by Concordia graduate, filmmaker and writer Anita Aloisio, who will explore issues surrounding the complexity of linguistic identities, particularly within Quebec’s Italian-origin community.
